Damu: Debut EP of Damuncheez

Almost a year after the release of his critically-acclaimed project “44thComing”, Batas aka Ginoong Rodriguez is back with more new music. This time, instead of the microphone, he picked up his guitar and collaborated with fellow Canada-based musicians to form the band Damuncheez. Joining Ginoong Rodriguez are Chec and sOUNDpLANET on MPC, Opdabot on bass, and DJ Ben on turntables.

On the 30th of November 2025, Damuncheez released their debut EP titled “Damu” . The three-track project features a laidback boom bap sound, paying tribute to the golden age of hip-hop. “Damu” promises a musical journey that will make you bob your head from beginning to end. It’s now available on all streaming platforms.
